Postma 2nd at World Champs 2011
In a nailbiting final race Pieter Jan Postma finished first to secure a silver medal at the 2011 Finn Class World Championships. The event in Perth gave Pieter Jan (PJ) the chance to prove that he will be gold medal contender at the 2012 Olympic Games. With a scorecard including 5 first places PJ was unfortunate to use his discard in the first race of the series, but proved his strength under pressure by taking the all important final medal race to finish one point behind the current European Champion and new World Champion Giles Scott (GBR).
